Make Your Mark is now live!
What is Make your Mark…? It’s the biggest youth consultation in Europe.
Make Your Mark gives a unique opportunity for young people aged 11-18 to decide what Members of Youth Parliament debate in November 2018 within the House of Commons, that forms the basis for their 2019 campaign.
Check out more on the national picture, here.
Voting is open now and can be done by ballots or online. The deadline for young people to submit their vote is 10th October.
Over the years, Manchester is one of the local authorities that has had the highest number of young people participating in Make Your Mark and we want to keep this success going.
Help Manchester smash the 26,000 ballot total to be the best in the UK
Please find the Make Your Mark time table below, there are lots of resources online and Jo from the Manchester City Council Youth Strategy Engagement team will be posting info packs out to all of the youth partnerships in the city.
If you would like a pack posting out to you directly, with information on how to run the ballot, paper ballots and tally sheets, please contact Jo directly.
During September, the youth engagement team and Manchester Youth Council members and volunteers, will be out and about delivering sessions to schools and groups across the city.
