Social Action and Activism

How violence is affecting young people

Organised by match funders of the #iwill Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund and championing the role that young people are playing in community activism, we are supporting young people to showcase their work and engage directly with funders and decision-makers.

This event will bring together young people, funders and wider stakeholders to explore the role young people are playing in tackling social issues important to them and their communities, specifically around violence which impacts on young people.

We will be seeking direct responses from funders and decision-makers, and seeking commitments to support this work, and the vital role of youth activism, in the future.

Groups from across the UK will be represented supported by #iwill match funders including Virgin Money Foundation, Liverpool FC Foundation, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Esmée Fairbarn Foundation, Clarion Futures and Young Manchester.
