We are recruiting for Young Ambassadors!

Our Young Ambassadors are active young people aged 15-21 who represent Young Manchester in their local communities and media platforms. Young Ambassadors have a voice in governance through our grant and interview panels as well as representing us when visiting partners, completing mini-missions and organising events for young people across the city. We believe it is vital that young people’s voices are heard when making decisions which will impact on their lives, therefore, our ambassadors are at the heart of everything we do and always have a say on where money should be invested and who should receive such money, in order to make Manchester a better place for Young People.

We are working within the NYA guidance meaning we are providing an online version of the programme. This means we will be meeting via online group sessions (Zoom) and connecting young people to opportunities that are still proceeding. This is a fantastic opportunity to be productive and develop during a difficult time.

As well as contributing to our work, young people are supported by Young Manchester to develop their own personal and professional skills. This not only helps our ambassadors to become more employable but they also become more confident and empowered young leaders in their communities.

If you or any young people (aged 15-21) you know would like to become a Young Ambassador, please fill in the application form here and we will be in touch soon. Applications close on 1st March, good luck!
